Volunteering can be a way to fill up your time as well as truly help people.

Join a Community Service Club such as:

Rotary Club, Lion's Club, Kiwanis, Exchange Club, or many other clubs that are within churches, schools, and other community organizations.

Helping family and friends as a volunteer caregiver to the elderly and children, especially your grandchildren, can be a financial gift as well as a gift of love and contribution.

Reinvent Your Purpose by Starting or Growing a Business that Helps People.

After two years of being "retired" watching my energy and enthusiasm go downhill, a friend called me up and was very excited about some new products and a business she had started.  Granted it was a multi level marketing company, but when I joined her, it brought me back to life.  There were products which helped a lot of people and I really liked the other members of her team.

When the economy turned and people stopped purchasing the products, I moved to another business, and then another until I landed 14 years ago on the solid business that I am currently involved in today.

My point is that I have been able to help several hundred people with their health, and therefore their mindset.  A few joined me in this business, which is a totally unique model, and I was able to help them financially and well as help them to contribute to society as a whole.

Starting or even growing a business gives people HOPE as well as their ability to travel and visit their grandchildren.
